Harmony Cone have been making ear candles since 1992 and certainly take a scientific approach in calculating combustion rates to produce a candle with a safe, wonderfully clean burn. Food grade wax is used in these candles . It's straighter molecule chain produces far less carbon emissions than unfiltered paraffin or beeswax and the candle stays unblocked for the duration of the treatment. Candles are 10" long and 1/2" in diameter.

The original Biosun Hopi Ear Candle is a truly safe and natural product, with a built-in filter that stops material falling down the candle but allows upward air movement.
Made according to the traditional Hopi Indian recipe, the ingredients include pure beeswax, precious honey extracts and organic linen. These are combined with powdered Indian medicinal herbs, such as Sage, St. John's Wort and Chamomile, well known for their healing properties.
Biosun Ear Candles have the CE mark (93/42-EEC) for medical devices in Europe. Biosun are the only Ear Candle registered as a Class IIa Medical Device.

Aurecon Ear Candles
Swiss quality ear candles from a leading natural health products manufacturer. At 30mm across the top of the cone, they are much wider than the other leading brands, encouraging a more efficient 'chimney effect'. Each candle has a unique hypoallergenic valve which allows free up flow of air whilst stopping any material falling back down. The valve is integrated into the candle and is the part that is inserted into the ear.
Each pair is hygienically sealed and has a shelf life of 5 years. Made with unbleached cotton and a beeswax blend. The candles are a traditional cone shaped. 210mm tall and 30mm wide at the top. Each pair is supplied with a disposable foil ash catching disc. RRP £7.99 per pair.

Original Natural Ear Candles
Natural Ear Candles are a plain ear cone made from organic unbleached cotton and pure beeswax utilising only the capwax, the newest and best part of the honeycomb. There are absolutely no other additives, and the use of organic cotton ensures there are no pesticide residues. These are made by hand by a small business in the USA using local ingredients. They are no more that 2 - 3 weeks old when our customers get delivery. About 10" long and 1/2" wide.

Probably the safest of all ear candles. Otosan is the best selling ear candle in some European countries, although substantially outsold by Biosun in the UK. The OTOSAN cone, besides the PROTECTIVE DISC, has a FLAME-BREAKING RING, which automatically extinguishes the flame at the end of the treatment and makes it easier, safer and more practical to use. It also features a valve rather than a filter, which ensure upward movement of air is not impeded but it is impossible for any candle material to drip into the ear. This results in a no-risk treatment ideal for everyone, including children.
The candle is cone-shaped and over 20mm wide at the top, so whilst at 160mm it is shorter than other ear candles the manufacturer claims it works with greater efficiency enabling a shorter treatment time. (5 - 7 minutes).
